From the part one of the teaching we have Followed the examples of men written in the scripture great men who were ordained from their womb some even before the were conceived to become servants of God their destiny were already defined by their creator yet they were careful not to live a worthless life we saw the likes of Apostle Paul and Prophet Jeremiah they were dedicated to the work and assignment God had prepared for them and also very intentional about their own life so the won't become a reprobate or a castaway we also saw the examples of men who failed in the course we saw the likes of King Solomon and John the Baptist King Solomon in 1 Chronicles 28:9 God ordained him to be great before he was conceived God had placed on his hands the great mantle of been in charge of building his temple he was doing so well a king blessed beyond comprehension wiser than those who had gone ahead of him but immediately he started living a careless life he became a castaway all his wisdom became vanity
In 1 Kings 11:4 we saw the later end of King Solomon he left the ways of the Lord the way which his father had followed and went into other gods his heart became corrupted His heart wasn't found perfect with God as that of his father a man who once built a temple for God brought himself so low to the point of building many idols just for his wives and concubines that made him unworthy of been the king of Israel his royalty and promise of God for him was taken away this was someone that had a prophecy over his head in 1 Kings 9:4 God speaking to David that his son will rule over his people and that he will be the one to build his holy temple and that he will grant him peace roundabout that same son later became a castaway because of his careless lifestyle
That is exactly what happens when we chose to live a carefree life we became castaways deprived of the blessings and promises of God that's is why in the book of 1 Corinthians 9:27 Advises us to put our body under subjection choosing to absent from anything that doesn't bring glory to the kingdom of God
We can't tell if someone will go to heaven from when he was born at still a very little child but we can tell if someone an adult will go to heaven from the way they live their lives if a person keeps on living in disobedience if will be very easy to tell because his lifestyle already defined where he is heading to same way we can tell who will go to heaven from our lifestyle and the only criteria and qualification to going to heaven is in living an obedient life to the law and commandments of God
If a person continues to obey God surely he will go to heaven
After our birth there's an assurance that we are going to heaven if we continue to follow God's will as we grow up but if on the contrary we begins to disobey God even if we are destined to go to heaven we are going to hell so the grantee is not weather we are destined but rather we if are living in obedience to the commandments of God
GLORY TO GOD
AMEN
