I love running into people like that, too! That's pretty wild the wide variance in beauty between the two towns, but I certainly understand, as I've seen the same thing on the mainland, too, though I'd say that there are fewer towns or cities in the US that could be called 'beautiful', especially compared to Europe. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

I have no way of comparing, as I’ve never been to any US town or city, so the only reference I have is from movies and series and such. I think it would look “beautiful” to us due to the sheer size of everything, and less to the beauty of the cities itself. I’ve already noticed when looking at review videos of cameras by people in the US, that stuff is often pretty boring and “concrete” (the building material that is :-) ).

IT’s actually the same here now these days… You can literally drive to the streets of the past 20 years and clearly see which Instagram or TV-show was popular at the time they’ve built their houses.
Keeping up with the joneses is often the only “life” that is still there in the houses (or the people)
