Many times we pass by a statue and do not perceive the totality of its beauty.
A statue is not just a rock polished by a sculptor. A statue tells us stories, it has movement and it is up to us to discover it.
I took these photos that I am sharing with you yesterday while I was accompanying someone to the cemetery. I was observing that no one stopped to contemplate the sculptures there. They are fools who did not discover the stories that they tell us in their solitude and through silence...
Whenever I walk with a camera, or simply a cell phone, I try to observe details that others do not perceive. I like to play with light, shadow, contrasts... It makes me feel good.
In these photographs of the statues, I imagined stories and dialogues between them and I hope you perceive it that way. I hope that with these images I encourage you to comment and share so that they reach more people.

Muchas veces pasamos cerca de alguna estatua y no percibimos la totalidad de su belleza.
Una estatua no es solo una roca pulida por algún escultor. Una estatua nos cuenta historias, tiene movimiento y depende de nosotros descubrirlo.
Estas fotos que les comparto, las tiré ayer mismo mientras estaba acompañando a alguien al cementerio. Estuve observando que nadie se detenía a contemplar las esculturas del lugar. Ilusos ellos que no descubrieron las historias que nos cuentan en su soledad y a través del silencio...
Siempre que camino con una cámara fotográfica, o simplemente un teléfono celular, trato de observar detalles que otros no perciben. Me gusta jugar con la luz, la sombra, los contrastes... Me hace sentir bien.
En estas fotografías a las estatuas, se me antojaron historias y diálogos entre ellas y así espero lo perciban ustedes.
