Hello everyone. Saturday was meant to be my rest day, but they used to say in my country that who de find money no de rest meaning those who are looking to get extra ways of income don't rest.
I decided to talk to my boss about following him to sites for painting during my free days so that I can get more money to balance my income and expenses. Normally, as a corps member My role at my place of primary assistant (PPA) is to help my boss stay at the office and attend to any customer/clients he gets and also inform him about it. But I have been the type of person who has always liked to be on the field working rather than being behind a desk. Also since I have the background knowledge of painting. I decided to start working.
Yesterday I had to follow him and other site workers to the site to paint. Although they had started painting before yesterday, I only joined yesterday, we started painting at around 9am and stopped working around 5pm.
The experience was stressful, but I was happy to join them because of the extra cash and the fact that it's adding to my experience. Before now, the largest I have painted was a 2 flat exterior and that was my father's house. But this is a 7 flat and also a contract job.
