Mondays……most of the time, mine are fine, but today started out being an aggravation! We needed to go to my work as the fax machine died Friday. I’d ordered a new one that was delivered yesterday from Amazon. We took it to work; @silvertop was along for the ride. We removed the old one and took the new one out of the box. I wanted a Brother brand as they are work horses. That’s what this new one was. The ad on Amazon said it was “wireless”, which is what we needed. Unfortunately, their ad was incorrect and it wasn’t. After some sleuthing on @silvertop’s part, he discovered that Amazon labels this particular product incorrectly. It’s not available wireless!
The old machine is un-useable. So my coworker today is faxless and has to use my printer in the back to make any copies if she needs them. I’ve ordered another model of a brother fax which will be in Wednesday. Here’s to hoping it’s going to work. It does say it’s WiFi on 2.4 MHz or 5.0 MHz, so it should be good.
Then it was off to Lynden for a couple of errands. Later on in the afternoon, we went for a hike. I didn’t take any pics, but I have some yet from yesterday’s trek at Boulevard Park. Enjoy!
There’s a couple of Apple trees near the waters edge that were in bloom.
When we first arrived, there was a mom with her children close by to where the yellow tulip picture was taken. I heard the mom tell her little girl, as my back was to them, to find someone to give her Easter egg to. I didn’t realize until @silvertop called to me, that the little girl had chosen me! She was no more than 3’ tall if that, and very shyly held out the egg for me to take. I took it and thanked her as she wished me ‘Happy Easter’. I thanked her and her mom both and wished them the same. I discovered later, that there was a message inside the egg. Here’s a pic with me holding it.
Here’s the message from inside.
What a nice way to bring a smile to your face with an uplifting message!
Later on and further down the trail, I ran across Jesus!
He was on the park bench just sitting there with no one around. He is with me as I type! 😇
It was an enjoyable day!
That’s it for today. I unfortunately just discovered I’ve lost part of a tooth and now need to call my dentist in the morning. 😳🙄 I suspect a root canal in my near future. Take care and enjoy the rest of your day wherever you are! 🙏🌎🙏

NKJV Luke 25:13-18
Now behold, two of them were traveling that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was seven miles from Jerusalem. And they talked together of all these things which had happened. So it was, while they conversed and reasoned, that Jesus Himself drew near and went with them. But their eyes were restrained, so that they did not know Him.
And He said to them, “What kind of conversation is this that you have with one another as you walk and are sad?”
Then the one whose name was Cleopas answered and said to Him, “Are You the only stranger in Jerusalem, and have You not known the things which happened there in these days?”
