If you’ve ever read any of my posts, you already know I have a thing for ‘shrooms! No, I don’t like to eat them at all! I don’t care for the flavor no matter how you cook them! I do love to photograph them and finding them out in the forest just makes my day!
There are some edible varieties in my neck of the woods, but I’ve read accounts of folks who were considered ‘experts’ who ate the wrong kind and died! I’d much rather take their pictures! 😁
Work was kind of slow today. I don’t mind the slowness as it gives me opportunities to work on other stuff. I was able to finish the work created from today’s appointments, so that was good. I also got the insurance verified for next Wednesday except for one that is currently inactive.

These guys are definitely NOT edible! They reek of being poisonous just by looks alone!
It looks as though I’m going to lose my lastly hired coworker-at least that’s what she told me yesterday. She didn’t turn her notice in though, but I know she will eventually. Then my other coworker will take the summer off since her kids will be out of school, and lastly, the doc’s mom has been wanting to retire for quite some time. That leaves us with a whopping staff of just me, myself and I! I won’t work the 5 days, and I don’t want to run 3 appointment days with zero help. Yep-the doc’s go a pickle of a problem he needs to fix!
This next picture has resided as my desktop wallpaper for a couple years at work. I just changed it out yesterday to a beautiful flower picture I took.
The day ended uneventfully and I was outta there and heading home by 4:15!
These next three are ‘inky blacks’. They are edible but have a short shelf life of 3 days max.
I’m not sure what our plans are for the weekend just yet.
