Hey Actifitters,
Another temperature swing yesterday but in the wrong way, it got warmer unfortunately, and all the snow melted, some light rain didn't help.
Even Le Chat looked at this disaster and said "I'm going back inside..."
Combined with a few meetings I couldn't skip, it pushed our daily walk to later after nightfall. Instead of an ice rink near the entrance of the forest, we now have a swimming pool! But it will refreeze and get much worse.
The trails are now a muddy icy mess.
But it's still quite treacherous, and every step must be taken very carefully.
And Kaia forgot, she fell really hard again. This time, it was clearly painful, she held one of her back legs up for a while. Luckily, it seems it didn't last too long, she was walking normally after a few minutes.
But we kept it a little shorter than usual and headed back home.
Well, once again, this Michigan winter is quite changing. We're used to it, but it doesn't mean we enjoy a day like this. More ice and snow in the forecast now, fun!
