Join me today as we walk through a very cute market town with the name of STAMFORD in the UK ๐ฌ๐ง
We will see some old buildings that are very characteristic and could appear in many romantic movies and be written about in novels ๐
On my short trip end of July to return the car to Ireland, I visited Stamford for the afternoon.
I have showed you before this town so it could look familiarโฆ.. today it was sunny โ๏ธ and I show you new areas.

Letโs start our walk in the sun โ๏ธ
Wandering the street in the centre, do look up as you can discover a lot of details and beautiful old facades.

I turned a side road and wandered furtherโฆ
All the houses are so cute.
Not many people out and about today in the streets I wander through, just the way I like it ๐
Wandering further I take this capture back as we walked past these houses.
Next to the large church I found this small workshop. It was closed but looked interesting. Next time I go inโฆ

A bit further I see this old church bell ๐ on the side of the road.
Very interesting. It looks like it is to protect the wall from carsโฆ no idea why it would be there otherwise?
Wandering back towards the centre and its shopping streets for a #coffee โ๏ธโ๏ธ I see these buildingsโฆ.

We walked a while and ended up at the #meadows of #Stamford. A large green area next to the #river. Over the river we find this beautiful #bridge ๐

This old barn that is converted into apartments caught my eye last minuteโฆ the church just peeking ๐ซฃ over its roof.
I will visit Stamford again, as it is close to the in-laws. So much still to discover. I do knowโฆ I like this cute little market town.
