In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.
After I finished going through the hundred songs provided by Spotify that I listened to the most in the last year, I have thought of adding songs of my choice from my "Like" list that has more than 1000 songs. The last song I talked about in my last post was: Butterfly Effect: Koven
Friday: Ice Cube
My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Friday of the artist Ice Cube
Ice Cube was one of the first Hip-Hop artists I ever heard in my life. As I have mentioned several times, I played with a group of friends to Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Multiplayer (SAMP) in which you had the possibility to place a stereo in the game and put a music link.
I remember that at that time, putting those music links was quite difficult, because they were not compatible with pages like Youtube. I remember we used an application called Offliberty that generated a link to listen to the song.
I was thirteen years old when I had my first real contact with the artist. Although come to think of it, it wasn't really the first time I saw him. The first time I saw him in my life was as an actor in a Christmas movie, where he played a man in charge of taking care of his two stepchildren.
Later in time, I watched a documentary film called Straigth Outta Compton. This movie is about the founding and decline of one of the most legendary rap groups of all time: N.W.A. Consisting of Dr. Dre, DJ Yella, MC Ren, Eazy-E and Ice Cube, the group achieved worldwide success thanks to their songs.
One of my favorite Ice Cube songs is directly related to his departure from N.W.A. “No Vaseline” is an incendiary track that he dedicates to his former bandmates, in which he trashes them mercilessly.
Friday is part of the album Lethal Injection released in 1993. This is one of the artist's most famous albums, as it features hits such as You Know How We Do It and Ghetto Bird.

However, the application didn't always work, so this time we will be using a Discord bot that is in charge of returning a winner from among all the comments on a Hive post.
