So for that reason I didn't see it directly but indirectly because it was used as part of the soundtrack of the film. I'm sure many of you felt the same way.

It was later when I saw the movie that I liked the song and for some reason that I no longer remember I ended up looking for it on YouTube. And that's how I found out about it and today, because of the things in life, I'm talking to you about it. It's even a little funny how things happen sometimes and how we discover new music. You know, this song was very successful at the time and it still is, in fact it has more than 3k million views on YouTube and that's not counting the views on other platforms. I think the song itself is quite an internet phenomenon. I think that all of its success is not only due to the movie, because I know that some might say that. I think that all of its massive success is thanks to its message combined with the beautiful music that it has. I'm sure that more than one of you will agree with me on this.

So I'll get to the point about what this song is about for all of those who haven't heard it yet and well if you've heard it, you're also invited, this is for everyone. Let's see. The song uses the sunflower to represent several things. In my opinion, they use it because it looks pretty, but for it to look pretty, it needs care so it doesn't wither away. In the lyrics, that can be interpreted as a person who, despite having something special, requires attention and commitment to move forward. I'm sure you understand what I mean. Also, in the lyrics, there are mentions of moments in which a relationship feels complicated, where you can see the tension between wanting to be there and at the same time not, or maybe not being in it because we lack security or because we believe that we can't give what is expected of us.

As you can see, that is the core of the song according to my interpretation. It is like a dilemma that we are in a very nice relationship in which we don't have much security even though everything is going well. But of course that is not all, as I already told you, that is only the central theme or the core as I want to say. I tell you this because there are some lessons that the singers also leave us in the lyrics. I am going to mention at least the ones that I like the most, but I am telling you right now that there are more. For example, it teaches us that we don't have to become perfect in a relationship, but that we can't use that argument to leave everything up to chance. They say in the lyrics that we can't leave things to chance just because we think we're not perfect.

It is a lesson that many do not expect because some say that we should not fight with things because we are not perfect, but if we always justify everything with that, then things will not end very well. That is why I think that the message of this song is different from what other songs repeat. That is one of the points, there is also another that I like a lot that emphasizes that in a certain way one should not leave the good with a lack of attention. It is like when you see something that you like, be it a person or a situation, and you realize that even if everything looks great, without that little extra care, things can go to hell. I agree a lot with this theme of the song.

As I always tell you, this is one of the approaches that we can give to the whole message of the song. I have seen the opinion of other people and they give it a very different interpretation, that seems very good to me, that each one takes something from it in their own way, in fact the lyrics lend themselves a lot to that.
