Coming back to the place
that I once called home,
everything changed,
no life under the dome.
Once upon a time,
when all of us were here
having salmon and lime,
and being all near
a near-death experience,
behind that fence
with my friend Spence,
all making sense.
Today I am back
to the places that I once
called home,
but I am the one that changed,
while the places are still the same
looking for my heart
not playing Mario Kart,
I am still alone
in the middle of all those people
that I know
more than that crow
that looked at me
when I was sitting
on that bench in the park
checking on my mark
eating a cheese bun
and drinking my kefir
without trying to stir
any trouble. Double
the time, the same
one to blame,
I came, but the place
that I called home is not the same
anymore!
That feeling of despair,
last time I felt this one
was centuries ago,
wandering in worlds long-forgotten,
in some complete unknown
universes.
