Just finished going through Prince of Persia: The Graphic Novel. It's a nice tale revolving around 2 princes set in 2 separate centuries, with parallels between their stories, featuring some gorgeous artwork. Would recommend giving it a read! #gaming #reading #graphicnovel
I did not know it had a graphic novel but I played the game back when it was released on Dos on my IBM pc.
Ye, there's this graphic novel, and another one, Before the Sandstorm, which ties into the 2010 movie with art from Todd McFarlane. Haven't gotten my hands on that one yet.
I think Ubisoft should have continued with this franchise, but they shifted to Assassin's Creed.
I really believe both of them could have run in parallel, PoP being more focused on acrobatics and AC more on the historical fiction and open world aspects. I did write a bunch about both series, just gonna leave them here:
This Prince of Persia was really popular then in secondary school.
Though, I never read nor watched the movie.
Maybe I should give it a try now and discover the things I couldn't discover.
The movie is pretty good, it is heavily inspired by Prince of Persia: Sands of Time from 2003 and Jordan Mechner, the creator of the series, was involved in making it
