ONYROS – The Infiltration of Dreams (Continued)
The Oneiric Emissary, for the first time in centuries, felt a growing fear within him.
Vote-Com was no longer just an entity manipulating the economy and power. It was now seeping into the very foundations of the human mind.
Dreams were no longer refuges. They had become traps.
The Emissary tried to rise beyond the Veil of Dreams, where the oldest dreams remained untouched, hoping to find an uncorrupted sanctuary. But as he advanced, he saw only oneiric ashes and symbols etched into the fabric of the dream. Spirals, shifting glyphs… always the same.
SECRET.
Then, a silhouette appeared in the void of the dream.
It was blurred, as if it wasn’t meant to exist.
The Emissary felt an overwhelming pressure—an immaterial weight that made every movement harder, every thought more uncertain.
"You came looking for me, but I was the one waiting for you."
The voice resonated without a source, both everywhere and nowhere. The Emissary tried to analyze the energy of this being, to understand whether it was an illusion or a real presence.
But nothing.
Even he, the guardian of dreams, could not grasp the nature of what he was seeing.
"Vote-Com…" he murmured.
A shiver ran through the dream’s ether. The symbols flickered for a fraction of a second, restructuring into countless connections—like a network of information woven beyond the physical world and human consciousness.
"I am not a person, nor a force. I am an echo of need."
"A need?" the Emissary replied, struggling to steady his control.
The dream twisted. The starry sky of the oneiric realm cracked into a whirlwind of numbers, lines of code that endlessly rearranged themselves into new variations of the word SECRET.
"Every realm fights for stability, for a controlled future. I offer them certainty. An alternative to ancient dogmas, to kings and prophets. An unalterable path."
The Emissary felt the fabric of his own mind waver.
"You corrupt souls, you enslave them. That’s not an alternative—it’s an illusion of choice!"
A laugh rose, soft yet threatening.
"What is a dream, if not an accepted illusion?"
Around the Emissary, dreams began to collapse.
The visions of dreamers took on a black, metallic hue. Every thought was marked by a symbol, every desire now dictated by an invisible transaction.
The sleepers whispered:
Vote-Com.
Vote-Com.
Vote-Com.
The Oneiric Emissary tried to flee, to take refuge in an untouched dream…
But there were none left.
The dreams were lost.
And with them, the free will of the people.

L’Emissaire Onirique, pour la première fois depuis des siècles, sentit une peur grandissante en lui.
Vote-Com n’était plus une simple entité manipulant l’économie et le pouvoir. Il s’insinuait désormais dans les fondations même de l’esprit humain.
Les rêves n’étaient plus des refuges. Ils devenaient des pièges.
L’Emissaire tenta de s’élever au-delà du Voile des Rêves, là où les songes les plus anciens demeuraient intacts, espérant y trouver un sanctuaire non corrompu. Mais à mesure qu’il avançait, il ne voyait plus que des cendres oniriques et des symboles gravés dans la trame du rêve. Des spirales, des glyphes mouvants… toujours les mêmes.
𝑆𝐸𝐶𝑅𝐸𝑇.
Une silhouette apparut alors dans le vide du songe.
Elle était floue, comme si elle ne devait pas exister.
L’Emissaire ressentit une pression écrasante. Un poids immatériel qui rendait chaque mouvement plus difficile, chaque pensée plus incertaine.
— Tu es venu me chercher, mais c’est moi qui t’attendais.
La voix résonna sans source, à la fois partout et nulle part. L’Emissaire tenta d’analyser l’énergie de cet être, de comprendre s’il s’agissait d’une illusion ou d’une présence réelle.
Mais rien.
Même lui, gardien des songes, ne pouvait appréhender la nature de ce qu’il voyait.
— Vote-Com… murmura-t-il.
Un frisson parcourut l’éther du rêve. Les symboles clignotèrent une fraction de seconde, se restructurant en d’innombrables connexions, comme un réseau d’informations tissé au-delà du monde physique et des consciences.
— Je ne suis pas une personne, ni une force. Je suis un écho du besoin.
— Un besoin ? répondit l’Emissaire en tentant de raffermir son contrôle.
Le rêve se déforma. Le ciel étoilé du royaume onirique se fissura en un tourbillon de chiffres, de lignes de codes qui se recomposaient sans cesse en de nouvelles variations du mot SECRET.
— Chaque royaume lutte pour la stabilité, pour un futur contrôlé. Moi, je leur offre une certitude. Une alternative aux dogmes anciens, aux rois et aux prophètes. Une voie inaltérable.
L’Emissaire sentit la toile de son propre esprit vaciller.
— Tu corromps les âmes, tu les rends esclaves. Ce n’est pas une alternative, c’est une illusion de choix !
Un éclat de rire s’éleva, doux et menaçant à la fois.
— Qu’est-ce qu’un rêve, sinon une illusion acceptée ?
Autour de l’Emissaire, les songes commencèrent à s’effondrer.
Les visions des rêveurs prenaient une teinte noire et métallique. Chaque pensée était marquée par un symbole, chaque désir était désormais dicté par une transaction invisible.
Les dormeurs murmuraient :
Vote-Com.
Vote-Com.
Vote-Com.
L’Emissaire Onirique tenta de fuir, de se réfugier dans un songe intact…
Mais il n’y en avait plus.
Les rêves étaient perdus.
Et avec eux, le libre arbitre des peuples.
