This is cool, I like those clay eggs you made but my question is did you add anything to the base before molding the clay on it? Because I am wondering if the clay wouldn't absorb the water when it is filled up
Although I know clay is muddy and takes a little while when hardened to easily absorb water.

As mentioned in the post they will indeed absorb water in their current form so i must bake them in a kiln next and also add a glaze which will give them a shiny finished look. Then they will hold water just fine.
