RE: A unique decentralized trading experience

Hyperliquid is certainly hot, for the moment, @achim03. As with any of these shiny, new objects, it will be interesting to see how it does with standing the test of time. As we both now, very little in the crypto world survives that test.

"Trading with leverage is always a very big risk ..."

Stats I have any confidence in will indicate 99% of traders lose money. Certainly over any length of time. Human nature challenges being what they are, we will often see a lot of ... whatever word you may prefer ... when someone scores big, on a particular trade.

When they lose?

Crickets. Followed by the obvious question - how many wins vs. losses do any of these so-called influencers have on their score sheet. Assuming you could ever truly see it.

NFA. DYOR.

What I like about Hyperliquid is that it has real usefullness. It offers an alternative to Binance for example.

Stats I have any confidence in will indicate 99% of traders lose money.

trading is nothing else than the game of probability. The higher your fees, the more the odds are against you. Then there is the fact that trading is against human nature. The only way to trade profitably is to work out a real strategy that gives you an edge and where you can go around your own impulses.

DeFi, as a legitimate alternative to CeFi, is certainly an attractive idea, as a concept. Under the DeFi umbrella, the promise of being able to invest, trade, etc., while preserving our privacy and retaining control of our hard-earned money is appealing.

Many attempts to bring that promise to life have come and gone. Hopefully, you will find HyperLiquid has learned enough lessons from these past failures to have a greater probability of success over time.

"trading is nothing else than the game of probability."

Yes. The probability of what? That anyone can claim to fully and accurately analyze what has happened in the past (?) and then apply that to forecasting what will happen in the future (??).

The odds of consistently doing that are in addition to the odds you rightly point out, of successfully and consistently overcoming human nature.
