DeFi, as a legitimate alternative to CeFi, is certainly an attractive idea, as a concept. Under the DeFi umbrella, the promise of being able to invest, trade, etc., while preserving our privacy and retaining control of our hard-earned money is appealing.
Many attempts to bring that promise to life have come and gone. Hopefully, you will find HyperLiquid has learned enough lessons from these past failures to have a greater probability of success over time.
"trading is nothing else than the game of probability."
Yes. The probability of what? That anyone can claim to fully and accurately analyze what has happened in the past (?) and then apply that to forecasting what will happen in the future (??).
The odds of consistently doing that are in addition to the odds you rightly point out, of successfully and consistently overcoming human nature.
