Warm Hearts in The Cold Winter

in FreeCompliments7 days ago

In a simple neighborhood there was a very poor family living in a small house with one room and a hall, and the cold was biting in the middle of winter. The father, Uncle Hassan, worked one day and had money and another day he didn't and the mother called soraya was trying to manage things in any way so that her children wouldn't go to bed hungry.

One day, it was raining and the wind was strong, and Uncle Hassan's children were wearing light clothes that couldn't keep them warm. Mahmoud, his eldest son, was looking out the window at the people walking in the street wearing heavy jackets, and he felt a pain in his heart, not because he wanted a jacket, but because he saw his mother and father tired and trying to cover up their lack of resources.

At the same time there was a rich man named Madhat who owned a large clothing store, and he was passing by the area. He saw the children and his heart softened and he stopped and asked about the house and after he learned about their circumstances, he decided to help them without hurting their dignity.

The next day, Uncle Hassan found someone bringing bags full of winter clothes, blankets, and a bag of food that would last them a week. The man who brought them said: There is someone who loves to do good and sent you these things. Uncle Hassan and soraya couldn't believe it, and the children were happy when they wore warm jackets for the first time.

The days passed, and Madhat continued to help them without them knowing his identity, until one day, Mahmoud saw him in the shop handing bags to an employee and said to him: Take these things to the house at the end of the street. Then Mahmoud understood who was standing next to them, and ran to kiss his hand, but Madhat grabbed him and said: "My son, this goodness is not from me, it is from God, and I am just a means."

From that day on, Uncle Hassan worked in Madhat's shop, and their lives became better, and warmth entered their home not only with clothes, but with the hearts of the kind people who help without expecting anything in return.
