Hi Galen, I recall at least two cases of farude and also related to false childhood cancer cases. If I remember correctly, one was related to a false case of a child with marrow cancer, and the other to a girl with false leukemia. All these cases are an aberration, I think the adjective human garbage is very appropriate. There is no justification for this.
As for the NGOs or similar, I prefer to directly control my help without the need of intermediaries.
I thought about this situation when writing my post trying to put myself in the position of being a parent who did such a thing and I simply couldn't, my mind wouldn't accept it. I can't imagine how a parent could do such a thing. It's reprehensible...and yet many such cases occur all over the world.
Nor can I justify, or put myself in the place of people who do this kind of thing, it is abhorrent. And, as you say, there are many cases in the world. There are too many perverse people.
