Over the years of experience in poultry farming, I came to realise that no one knows it all and we keep learning everyday. To be able to have a good production in poultry farming business, then you must be prepared to sacrifice your time and most importantly by diverting your attention to the birds because that's what the really need from brooding till maturity.

Any act of negligence can cause a great loss in poultry farming business and that's because have been there before. So in lieu of this below are some signals or warnings you need to take in to consideration in poultry farming business.

Bad smelling from the bird's pen is a great warning or signal that you need to take action now by taking care of your pen. Broiler birds are easily prone to diseases, so to keep them healthy, you have to make sure to keep your bird's pen clean always and make sure to replace their litter time to time.

WITHDRAWAL FROM FEED AND WATER

Like I said earlier that you need to give your full attention to your birds and take not of their feeding pattern. But take know when the birds don't consume feed or water because as they should. Birds withdrawal from feed or water is signal or warning that something is going wrongly with the birds which might be a sign of disease outbreak.

There are so many signals or warnings but it's the responsibility of the poultry farmers to pay close attention to those signals or warnings and study how birds behave every time you enter to their pen and know how they react when giving feeds or waters as to know the very active and gentle lambs among your birds.
