Benjamin, I was deeply shocked and saddened when I heard about what happened to your account. I've honestly been processing what happened, still in partial shock, which is part of why I'm so late in contacting you. I keep thinking, '*what if this happened to me? *', to lose everything that I've diligently worked to build, grow, and save over the past 3.25 years on this glorious Blockchain. And you have significantly more time here than I do. Just ouch.

You've been in my mind, which is why I'm here today. I've always appreciated you so much, and for a great many reasons, and I want to help in you in some way to rebuild, even though I don't yet know exactly how. I'm very grateful that so many incredible people in this dear Hive community have already offered you their assistance. I'm also very thankful that this blow did not so dishearten you that you decided to leave the Blockchain. I'm very happy to hear that. So good. I know it's not much, but I'm going to add this account to my auto-votes. I wish you indomitable success in creating something even better than before! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Thank you Tydyn, it's been a shock to me too but I decided the very moment it happened (I was online at the time) that I would do my best to skip over all the stages of grief and just to to acceptance. That doesn't mean I didn't explore my options, but once it became clear it was over, I made my peace.

If I'm honest with myself, I'll admit it's disheartening and painful, but it's been a great encouragement, all the support and help I've gotten. And time away for a week also helped me sort things out. Lots going on IRL and the timing of this is not a small thing. I can't really think about loosing all the assets, but rather think about all there is to be thankful for. That's what I mostly blog about anyway!

Rather than just being "alive", it's time to be GRATEFUL. Appreciate the auto-votes, I have to build back my following! :-)
